Snow, dear snow...

This picture doesn't really has much in common with the season, although at the moment the weather is not so hot as we would expect. And this picture shows something somewhat rare in Ancona: the snow. Even if Le Marche are full of hills and mountains, where it snows a lot in the winter (sometimes more, sometimes less), Ancona - the capital town - is rarely covered by the snow. This because of the sea and the humidity, which prevent the city to be covered. However, just one mile in the countryside, and everything is white. It is one of the differences which draw a gap between the coast and the countryside of Le Marche.
