The light is born again, an unusual way to say wishes...

I spent my last months (not only) thinking about the darkness, while waking up at 6 in the morning, the sun rising at 7.15 here, 44 parallel. And I thought how it could have been centuries ago, when the sunlight was the only light available... and then I realized how precious was that light, that light which gives the real meaning to the Christmas.

Yes, it's the day of the light, when the light, the Redeemer, win against the darkness. And a new year begin. The Christians give this moment a religious meaning, but they (should, at least) know that this is the Sun which comes into life again. And the summer, so far away now, is something we'll have to deserve, something we are waiting for the rest of the year.

I think that this way to enjoy Christmas enforce the natural feeling to be part of the Earth, while enforce also the idea that the symbols we use to represent Christ are nothing but symbols, mirrors of the truth, of the Spirit of Christmas.

So, now that the new year of light has began, I wish you the light inside you will show you the way, and I wish you will feel more and more part of the Earth, of the nature, of the humanity.

Enjoy this birth, enjoy this 2006.
